Block sanding lovely glossy paint because you weren’t anal enough about cleaning dust and went too heavy on vertical surfaces and got runs.
This I do not like...

Hate when I get the runs

The runs are never a good thing. What are you painting and is that in your garage?

Yeah I could see that

Dad repainted the lower part of the door on his Escort 3 times due to runs. Keep at it!

I sincerely hope it doesn’t take me three tries to get this right! I’m well past being fed up with sanding ;)

It’s the whole exterior (minus bolt-on panels) of my Spit, and yeah in my garage (or my dad’s garage anyway). We’ve rigged up a semi-temporary paint booth with plastic sheeting to protect the other cars in the garage. I think a lot of the dust fell down from the rafters while I was painting so that’s going to get a lot more attention this time round...

Can’t believe I didn’t think of that joke. Opportunity missed ;)

I once had a large
moth find its way into my makeshift booth and splat itself squarely on the not-even-flashed-wet fender I just painted.

It’ll pay off after you buff it out.

Hopefully :) it'll need a few coats more paint though as it's started getting thin where I've had to sand so much :S

Ooh not cool. Caught a daddy longlegs (not sure what you call them in the States) threaten to do that but I caught him in the act amd blew him away with the spray gun.

Call them the same thing here - and not something you want in the paint, either!
Are you doing a single stage or base/clear?
